Barnado's
The leading children’s charity in the UK, helping hundreds of thousands of children, parents, and carers each year. Content Guru supports the charity through a Christmas Giving Tree in our offices.
Charity Staff Foundation
Stages the annual, national Charity Staff & Volunteer Awards, to celebrate colleagues who got the extra mile for charity.
Coram Life Education Centers
Helps trained educators deliver interactive lessons on health, well-being, relationships, and drugs. Operates in 1 in 10 English and Scottish primary schools, serving almost half a million children.
Debra
Funds research into, and support for individuals affected by Epidermolysis Bullosa – a painful genetic skin condition that can be fatal.
Kika Kinderfonds
Raises funds for innovative research aimed at lessening the pain of childhood cancer. Content Guru supports Kika Kinderfonds through fun runs, fund-raising, and donations.
Macmillan Cancer Support
Provides physical, financial, and emotional support to those with cancer.
Macular Society
Works tirelessly to understand macular disease, whilst running local support groups and providing information on how to look after your eyes.
Save the Children
Works to change the lives of 45 million children around the world, helping them grow up healthy, safe, and with access to education.
Soldiering On Awards
Recognizes the outstanding achievements of those who have served their country, encouraging support for this diverse and remarkable community.
Starlight Children’s Foundation
Brightens the lives of the seriously ill, by granting wishes-of-a-lifetime. Starlight provides fun, laughter, and entertainment for sick children across the UK.
Stroke Association
Works to support stroke survivors through local clubs, running outings, live performances, quizzes, and games. The Stroke Association offers long-term support, information, and advice.
The Fire Fighters Charity
Works to support the fire services community, understanding the mental, physical, and social burdens of the community.
X Forces CIC
The leading organization in the UK for enterprise in the military community, providing a range of training courses, funding, and events.
Zilverlijn
A network of volunteers that arranges phone calls for elderly people, providing a pleasant chat, listening ear, or good conversation.
Local
Arctic One Foundation
Makes sport accessible to all. Their junior paratriathlon is the only event in the UK exclusively for children with any disability.
Berkshire Community Foundation
Brings members of the county’s community into contact with local initiatives. In 2020, the BCF managed the local distribution of NET (National Emergencies Trust), the main fundraiser to support people and organizations during the pandemics.
Binfield Primary School
Provides great education to children in Binfield village, Berkshire.
Bracknell & Wokingham College
Provides young people in the local area with a great start to their careers. Content Guru offers both financial services, and internships for students.
Bracknell Athletics Club
Develops athletes across track and field events from County level to Olympic competitors.
Bracknell Forest Borough Council
The local council of Content Guru’s native Berkshire. Operates services across the community, from conservation and environment to libraries and education.
Bracknell Nepalese Society
Represents the Nepali community in the local area, working to improve workplace diversity and celebrate Nepali culture.
Business Philanthropy Club
Content Guru is a founding member of the Berkshire Community Foundations’ Business Philanthropy Club, a vehicle for businesses to give effective and targeted funding to local projects.
Connecting Communities in Berkshire
Provides information, advice, and support to individuals and organizations, enabling them to raise money both locally and nationally.
Citizens Advice Bracknell & District
Helps people resolve legal and financial problems by providing free and confidential advice.
Inner Sense
Provides multi-sensory creative arts workshops for people with a wide range of learning disabilities, providing a chance to explore new imaginative worlds.
Involve
Organizes volunteering initiatives in the Bracknell Forest area, across a huge range of different sectors.
Jealott’s Hill Community Landshare
A six-acre site situated near Bracknell. Used and enjoyed by the local community for a range of horticultural activities, changing lives for the better through gardening.
King’s College London
Content Guru has supported the University since 2013, through the sponsorship of annual academic prizes. The ‘Content Guru Prize for Best Performance in Strategic Management’ is awarded to the highest achieving final year student for the BSc (Hons) Business Management.
Parents and Children Together
One of the UK’s leading adoption charities. Helps hundreds of families every year, and runs community projects across London and the South of England.
Pilgrim Hearts Trust
Runs the Bracknell Night Shelter, offering a safe place to rest for four months every winter. The Night Shelter offers hot drinks and meals, warm clothes, and a listening ear.
Pinewood U10s
Gets youngsters involved in football, encouraging enthusiasm for sport and exercise.
Ranelagh School
A school in the Bracknell area, balancing an excellent reputation with a strong sense of tradition in a supportive, stimulating environment.
SAFE! Support for Young People Affected by Crime
Supports 8 – 25-year-olds in the Thames Valley area who have been hurt by crime. Helps young people regain their confidence if they have been a victim of crime, bullying, abuse, or assault.
Sandhurst Counselling Service
Provides support, discussion, and exploration to help people lead richer, more fulfilling lives. Entirely confidential, the service is run by trained professionals and is subsidized by donations and fundraising.
Slough CVS
Aims to improve quality of life in the local community, by providing activities and services to residents.
South Hill Park Trust
The creative heart of Berkshire, working with the local community to offer festivals, fairs, and entertainment. The Trust aims to keep the arts available and affordable to all.
St Paul’s Child Contact Center
A safe place for children to meet with parents with whom they no longer live after a relationship breakdown.
Sunningdale Scout Group Explorers
One of the oldest scout groups in the UK, run continuously since 1910. Offers activities and experiences for local young people.
Swallowfield Community Responders
Responds to life-threatening emergencies in the local area, with over 800 people trained in life-saving procedures.
Thames Hospice
Provides expert care for people living with life-limiting illnesses, offering therapy, nursing, and medical care, as well as practical and emotional support to patients and families. In 2019, Content Guru donated towards the building of new hospice facilities.
Thames Valley Police
Thames Valley Police is the force working tirelessly to protect and serve Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, and Oxfordshire. We are proud to support the officers committed to working together to make our communities safer.
The Wayz
Provides a safe place for young people to engage in new activities projects, and opportunities. In 2018, the charity was recognized by the Queen’s Award for Voluntary Service.
The Trussel Trust
Works to end hunger and poverty in the UK. Content Guru supported a food bank aiming to provide nutritionally-balanced emergency meals to people in crisis.
Wellington College
An outstanding independent school in the local Berkshire area, with an impetus on valuing pupils as individuals.
Wokingham Borough Council
Provides a range of services, from schools and education to care, health, and parking. Content Guru was proud to have supported the Council in sponsoring the Queen’s 90th birthday celebrations.
Wokingham Winter Carnival
A community project with a long history that raises funds for local charities and nurtures a community spirit.
Wooden Hill Primary and Nursery School
Aims to create a happy, secure, stimulating learning environment where every child can achieve their full potential and grow in confidence.
Yateley FC
An under 12s football team, which works to promote fairness, teamwork, and the spirit of the game. Yateley FC is a club with a long history, working to provide opportunities to directly aid the health and wellness of the community through gigs and organized sports for the elderly and disabled people.
Youthline
Supports young people in the Bracknell Forest area, providing free, confidential counseling services managed by professional staff and a team of trustees.
