Content Guru Announced As Winner At Thames Valley Tech Awards 2020
Leader in cloud communications, Content Guru, has been announced as a winner at the Thames Valley Tech Awards 2020 of the Communications Company of the Year category.
The Communications Company of the Year category was sponsored by LDC, the private equity arm of Lloyds Banking Group. It was open to all types of communications companies – from telecoms (mobile and fixed services) to broadband, from WiFi to networking and cloud-based services – based in the Thames Valley region.
Content Guru has been recognized by the judges for its work throughout the pandemic to help customers in both the public and private sector, from Travel to Healthcare, cope with unforeseen operational challenges. Content Guru’s storm® solution scaled automatically to cope with several hundred percent of pre-outbreak call volumes for NHS 111 London, which had been receiving record numbers of calls from patients concerned that they had symptoms of the virus. Alongside this, Content Guru has set up several large healthcare call centers from scratch to help cope with the Coronavirus crisis. Each new call center is home-based to keep employees safe, and was set up in just days – a timeframe unheard of in the industry.
Content Guru’s win at third annual Thames Valley Tech Awards was announced at a virtual ceremony presented by Vernon Kay on September 24.
Martin Taylor, Deputy CEO at Content Guru, commented:
“I am very pleased that our team at Content Guru have been recognized with this prestigious award, for their hard work to keep our customers’ mission-critical services running throughout COVID-19. Content Guru and its parent company, Redwood Technologies Group, have been running global operations from their headquarters in Bracknell, Berkshire for over 25 years and as such, we really value this recognition in our home area.”
