Content Guru’s storm Platform Wins Enterprise Solution of the Year at IT Europa Channel Awards 2024

Content Guru’s Contact Center as a Service (CCaaS) platform, storm®, has been awarded Enterprise Solution of the Year at the IT Europa Channel Awards 2024. The awards recognize the stand-out technologies and organizations from across the IT industry and celebrated storm’s transformative capabilities and the tangible impact they have made.

The judging panel assessed Content Guru’s work with the Driver and Vehicle Licensing Agency (DVLA), in partnership with Wavenet, which resulted in the DVLA being named Britain’s most improved public sector organization in the UK Customer Satisfaction Index (UKCSI). As a result of its work with Content Guru, the DVLA is setting the standard within the public sector and the positive results that it has seen have positioned it as the leader of digital innovation within Government.

As part of its digital transformation plans, the DVLA selected storm to modernize its contact center operations and improve customer experiences. By leveraging storm’s powerful in-built AI capabilities, the DVLA optimized resource utilization, allowing seamless remote work for agents. Integration with storm's knowledge management system enhanced access to information, reducing handling time and improving customer service consistency. Additionally, the DVLA has integrated storm MACHINE AGENT®, allowing customers’ web chats to be AI-powered and run directly on the .gov.uk website.

The success of the DVLA’s use of storm was also recognized at the 2024 CCA Global Excellence Awards where the two companies won “Best Technology Partnership”.

“The DVLA’s use of storm has yielded remarkable results and we are delighted its achievements have been acknowledged by the judges,” commented Edward Winfield, Director Global Partnerships at Content Guru. “storm has played a vital role in its digital transformation and has unlocked the potential to benefit from the latest innovation, such as AI. As a result, the DVLA is quite rightly seen as the leader when it comes to adopting and harnessing technology to improve both citizen and agent experiences. We look forward to working alongside the DVLA to continue its journey to advance its operations through storm.”
