Content Guru Wins at Computing Cloud Excellence Awards 2021
Leading Customer Engagement and Experience solution provider, Content Guru, has been announced as a winner at the Computing Cloud Excellence Awards 2021, for ‘Best Use of Cloud in the Pandemic – Health and Social Care’. Content Guru and UK Power Networks, the UK’s Largest Distribution Network Operator (DNO), were also Highly Commended for ‘Cloud Project of the Year’.
These prestigious industry awards recognize the central role played by cloud technology in empowering organizations to adapt to changing conditions by applying new ideas, products and tools. Celebrating the best of UK cloud technology, the Computing Cloud Excellence Awards acknowledge the most innovative and compelling tech products and vendors, through documented high-profile use cases with major public-facing organizations.
Content Guru was awarded ‘Best Use of Cloud in the Pandemic – Health and Social Care’ for its work in support of UK health and care organizations coping with unprecedented pandemic demand amidst difficult and fast-changing conditions. Content Guru’s storm® solution enabled NHS 111 London to scale instantly, handling an increase in call volumes of up to 500% as the pandemic hit the capital. Content Guru went on to develop the innovative storm LINK™ On-Demand Video Consultation service for HUC, the provider of NHS 111 telephone and General Practitioner (GP) out-of-hours services for over 3.3 million people in the East of England. storm LINK enables HUC’s clinicians to conduct instant consultations via video, without the need for patients to make appointments or install mobile applications.
Content Guru and longstanding partner UK Power Networks were Highly Commended for ‘Best Cloud Project’, having worked together for more than a decade implementing cutting-edge cloud technologies to help millions of customers across London, the South East and the East of England. Most recently, innovative and artificially intelligent features of Content Guru’s storm solution have enabled UK Power Networks to improve its CSAT scores by 28% to 93.0 so far in 2021.
The winners were announced at a live event on Thursday 23rd September in Central London.
